Your privacy is important to us. It is Cell Squared's policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across this website and other sites we own and operate.
Cell Squared is an Australian business, ABN 69 627 980 143. If you are in New Zealand, or you buy from our New Zealand store, we handle your personal information under the Privacy Act 2020 as well as the Australian Privacy Act 1988.
We only ask for personal information when we need it to provide a service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge. We tell you why we are collecting it and how it will be used.
From New Zealand customers we collect the name, delivery address, email address, phone number and order details needed to take and send an order, process payment, handle a return or a Consumer Guarantees Act claim, and send messages you have asked for. Payment card details are collected and processed by our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers.
We only keep personal information for as long as we need it to provide the service you asked for, to meet a legal, tax or accounting obligation, or to handle a complaint or return. We protect what we store with commercially reasonable safeguards against loss, theft, and unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share information that identifies you publicly. We disclose it to the service providers who help us run the store and deliver the order, including Shopify, our payment provider and the carrier, and where the law requires us to.
Your information is held by Cell Squared in Australia and by those service providers. Sending it to Australia is a disclosure outside New Zealand. We only do that to complete your purchase and run the store, and we take reasonable steps to see that it is protected to a standard comparable to the Privacy Act 2020.
You are free to refuse a request for personal information. If you do, we may be unable to provide some services, including completing an order.
You can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it, by emailinginfo@cellsquared.com.au. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
