Ghee is a form of clarified butter, originating in Ancient India. Ghee is a versatile and healthy alternative to cooking oil, margarine, or butter and can be used in the same way as you would use any other cooking fat.

Ghee’s high smoke point makes it PERFECT for frying and sautéing at high temperatures and is often used to complement a keto or paleo diet as a healthy serving of fats!

Our ghee is made by gently heating unsalted butter sourced from grass-fed cows until the milk solids separate from the golden liquid.

Once separated, the milk solids and impurities (lactose + casein) are removed. Resulting in pure butterfat which retains all nutrients while keeping the delicious nutty, caramel-like taste & aroma that ghee is known for. When ghee is used to cook with, it helps to deepen flavours & assist with the uptake of fat-soluble nutrients.
