This ceremonial cacao elixir contains two herbs that are said to facilitate opening of the heart chakra - Tulsi and Rose. Opening up this channel allows us to receive love, connection and communication, which when consuming cacao is necessary to be open to it’s magic.

Ingredients
20–60g Cell Squared Ceremonial Cacao (refer to Ceremonial Cacao for dosage explanations)
250ml freshly steeped Tulsi Rose Tea
Optional sweetener (1 tsp raw honey, maple syrup or liquid stevia to taste)
Method

Slowly heat the water on the stove top, ensuring the water does not reach 60 degrees (over heating the water will reduce the potency of the cacao)

Add the Ceremonial Cacao to the water and slowly stir it to combine

Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend on medium speed for 30 seconds or until frothy and combined.

You may wish to garnish the elixir with sprinkles of Ceremonial Cacao, Cacao Nibs or Cacao Powder or edible flowers

*On dosage, due to the stimulating and rich nature ofcacao, we recommend starting with 20g ofcacao per person and working up from there (60g is a full ceremonial dose).
**On sweeteners,cacao is naturally bitter and rich so it’s best to keep the properties of these recipes as natural as possible, that is not adding too much sweetener to override the flavours of thecacao. If you aren’t used to the strong bitterness ofcacao, a little natural sweetener can take the edge off, but otherwisecacao can be consumed without any sweetener too.
